excellent character comedian Award winning ALICE COCKAYNE Alice is a graduate from Rose Bruford College, where she studied European Theatre Arts (training the contemporary performer. Whilst training at Rose Bruford Alice was able to develop as a multi skilled performer and artist. Specialising in comedy, clowning, drag, performance art and movement whilst also gaining skills in writing and developing her own practice. During Alices professional training at Rose Bruford College Alice developed her desire to pursue comedy and created the sketch show ‘Two girls and a lot of carrots’ with her sketch partner Paige. They went on to perform this at The Edinburgh Fringe, Alphabeti Theatre (Newcastle) and Shoreditch. Also she was given the opportunity to train for two months with internationally acclaimed Polish Theatre company Gardzienice. Here Alice worked intensely being integrated within the daily training of the company and refined her skills in musicality, choral singing and voice. Since graduating Alice was cast in the production ‘Fantasia’ (the dance before Christmas) at The Vaults London. She has continued to perform a new version of the comedy show ‘Two girls and a lot of breakdowns’ at Vaulty towers, the waitress club and The glory. Recently she has been developing her own solo cabaret piece after completing the Soho drag and cabaret course last summer and creating her own material. During the pandemic, Gabby has become a viral sensation with the trend setting “imjustbait” page repeatedly posting her for making a series of short hilarious videos, the most notable being her hit rap song, “Masturbation in Isolation”. Gabby is a versatile actress and has taken on a number of leads in independent films and plays. The most recent being the British Indie film, “No Fruit At The Bottom” it has won awards and multiple festivals, including Prague International Monthly Film Festival, The Lift Off Session and the World Film Carnival in Singapore. Gabby won Birmingham’s Best Newcomer at the Birmingham Fringe for her comedic performance in, ‘’The Morning After,’’ at the Famous Blue & Orange Theatre, also receiving rave reviews in Stratford Upon Avon at The Attack Theatre for her performances. Gabby is no stranger to the media. Both Time Out and the Birmingham Mail have listed her “Girlfriend From Hell – The Bitch Is Back,” show as one of the top things to see over a weekend. Birmingham Life magazine even publicly backed her for an Oscar saying, “It’s a long road but she is very definitely on her way”. Gabby Killick is one of the UK’s most exciting new talents. Whether she is acting, presenting, or performing her solo sketch comedy show, she has an extraordinary ability to wow the audience.
